I drew this between classes today for my little kitty. Chiquita has been fighting cancer for 4 years and this weekend she lost. Tomorrow she is going to be put down. For those of you who go off and rant about how putting animals down is evil can go shove it up your ass. We did everything we could for her. Six surgeries, medication, special food. We tried so hard to help her but in the end it just gave her a few more years. When I last saw her I could tell she was in pain. She had another surgery over Christmas break and for a while she was her old self. But now...she’s in just in so much pain

She was friend, not a pet to me. When I was little I was always moving; having to leave all my friends time and time again. The only ones who were always there for me was my brother and my cats. When I was sad I could always turn to them. I knew this was going to happen for a while… it still doesn’t make it any easier.

I’ll miss you chiqui.

my cat was put down... i know how you feel. you just dont want to let go, but you know its best if you do. you dont want to see her in pain, but you want to keep seeing her. its not like your loosing just a pet, it goes deeper. especially if you've had her for a long time. it feels like a bond in your soul has been broken, and there's no way to pick up all the peices. :cling:
